Street Food! Thailand
Guay Tiew Ruea translated as Noodles Boat. Guay Tiew Ruea was the first street food that popped into my mind to honor my late Thai grandmother, who always cooked this noodles soup whenever my family had gatherings, visits, and parties.

This poster has instructions for preparation and ingredients, then a story about How the Guay Tew Ruea was created. The map of Thailand was merged with the tortoise color and stood behind the descriptions for Preparation and Ingredients. The color palette was based on the color of the river and ocean. Adding the Thailand flag helps people to remember which country the flag was from. The river and Thailand flag influenced the typography color: green + red + blue. I illustrated the boat illustration.

Chicago's Ferris Wheel

Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
I've visited the Navy Pier, Chicago, IL a few times and I recalled there were no posters of the comparison on the three ferris wheels with information. Then I began to research about these three ferris wheels and the interesting facts, the numbers, Chicago's history, and the colors for the ferris wheels and Chicago's colors.
The colors – white, dark blue, sky blue, and red represents as Chicago, based on its flag. Meanwhile I sketched and created the gondola (car) simplify and the wheels as well. Helvetica Neue is a good choice for this poster and the typeface is neutral and readable. I experimented the layouts for the poster then asked a few people for feedback and choice. The poster with diagram on the right and information on the left had the most vote.
Mischievous

I was experimenting with the word “mischievous”  in a playful composition. I started with black and white then grey colors, to see the contrast before I replaced them with the primary colors. Somehow I thought of the villains in the Disney movies since they’re mischievous toward the main characters. I compared the villains' colors and noticed the common colors they had was purple, sea green, and a bit grey-white. The two “i” are the eyes since the villains always have their eyes on the main characters.
